Here are some super fast tips direct from my arsenal of money making tips for Natural Hair Salon Owners.

Now I am the first to admit… not all stylist are fat-assed. However there are times you'd think their backside were so heavy lifting them out of the staff room was impossible.

How would you like to motivate your stylists to sell more products and services and have fun doing it? How would you like to have them so motivated to work that it will not take up any of your time to motivate them?

You’re in for a pleasant surprise because below are 5 Simple but powerful tips to help you accomplish just that…but…only if you use them. So dig in and put one of them (or all of them) in place and watch the changes that will take place in your business.

5 Simple Tips To Motivate Stylists

  1. Chase the ten dollar bill. This is a great retail incentive for next Saturday. Whoever sells a retail product wins the ten dollar bill. The next person to sell a retail product gets the the bill from the pervious winner and so on. At the end of the day the person who holds the money wins it!

    It's a little like musical chairs. You can keep the bill on show in a see–through–box and whoever has it in their possession keeps it in front of them so all can see. Make the holder of the bill beep a horn or wear a hat. Fun stuff. (Can be used with a $20 or $50 bill, too.)

  2. Create Your Own Lotto. Have 10 envelopes with lotto scratch cards in them and every time someone sells a product they can chose an envelope to open.

  3. Create A Contest. Rebook a client for their next appointment and choose a lucky number. At the end of the week do a prize draw and the winner wins two cinema tickets!

  4. Develop Friendly Competition. Have a contest board in the staff room and each time a stylist sells a product, they win 1 point and 2 points if they sell a color. The stylist with the most points at the end of the week wins a meal for two at a local fab restaurant or whatever you think they would enjoy. (It's crucial that anything like this be very clear or it can create an unnecessary fuss and it won’t work as well.)

  5. Turbo-Tip

  • Who wants to sell more retail?

  • Who wants to sell more product?

  • Who wants to sell more shampoo?

THIS IS EASY

Simply say to your client ...

"would you like to take a bottle of the shampoo/conditioner/oil
I used on your hair today?"

…and then offer them 10% off today only!

You will be pleasantly surprised at how many of them will buy on the spot. But even better than that, you’ll be happy about the new profits you will earn as a result of using this simple but powerful money making tip.

These 5 tips, when put to use in your business, will have an unbelievable impact on your stylists. They can be used over and over. They can be changed to suit other promotions. They can be combined with others to create super momentum and a great work environment.
